Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

URBAN MYTHS IS OUT!

Yeah..it's out now! since last Friday actually. So if anyone is interested in checking out my first full comic " Urban Myths"
you can get the comic at any comic shop that has Top Cow titles.

There are 6 titles under the label "Pilot season" which means that they are all brand new titles, and basically out of those 6 only 2 titles can survive to make an ongoing series by voting. So..if you check it out and you think my comic can make it into a series. VOOTTTEEE!! Votes are suppose to be open on August but I found this link that has already the voting open..so check it out [link]

Other than that, I'll be at SDCC this year again. I'm going as part of Top Cow and probably be walking around giving copies of my comic to editors and people (hey...I gotta make some publicity for myself..it's no like it's on tv ) But you can find me either at the Top Cow booth or with the Udon crew..which by the way they are releasing this NEW STREET FIGHTER TRIBUTE book where I contribute too. You guys should defenetly check it out..Adam Hughes is in it...that's how badass it is.

And last but no least...thanks you very much to all of you for all the positive comments about the comic. Keepin my fingers crossed for the title..and hopefully I can cheer you with a title every month!
